2022

Atlas Honda Limited won 1st position for ‘Best Corporate Report 2021’ in ‘Engineering & Autos’ sector.

The company also won overall 2nd position for ‘Best Sustainability Report 2021’

Launch of our product on Alfa Mall in collaboration with Bank Alfalah. Conducted country-wide promotion compaign of 10W-30 oil.

Launch of CD 70 MMC. Received ‘Best Corporate and Sustainability Report Award’ by Joint Committee of ICAP and ICMAP.

Launch of Pridor MMC. Record highest ever sales in November 2021 with 128,503 units.

Awarded merit certificate for ‘Best Integrated Report’ by SAFA. Awarded at 14th International CSR Summit & Awards 2021 by NFEH.

Atlas Honda Goes Online with launch of E-Store. Short term 3 months exchange campaign were given to customers with 0% markup.

2021

Following new launches occurred during the year:

  • Genuine spare parts store was launched at Daraz for online sales
  • MMC of CD 70 was launched.
  • MMCs of CG125, CG125S and CB125F were launched
  • New engine oil variant launched at all primary dealership network

Received award at 13th International CSR Summit & Awards 2021, organised by NFEH

The previous ever highest monthly sales record was beaten in October 2020 with 116,002 units

Received ‘Best Corporate and Sustainability Report Award’ in ‘Engineering Sector’ in the event organised by the Joint Committee of ICAP and ICMAP

Record of ever highest number of sales units was broken for the second time in the year with 125,030 units sold in March 2021

 

2020

Atlas Honda Limited received Top 25 Companies Award by Pakistan Stock Exchange for the year 2017 and 2018

Received award at 12th International CSR Summit & Awards 2020, organized by National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH)

Received Merit certificate for ‘Best Corporate and Sustainability Report’ Award in “Engineering Sector” by the Joint Committee of ICAP and ICMAP

 

2019

The Company launches CB125F. The bike is powered with 125cc OHV engine, self start, 5 gears and other stylish features.

The Company launches CG125 Self with 125cc OHV engine, self start, 5 gears and other features.

ISO Certified Atlas Honda has been awarded ISO 14001 & 45001 for environmental management system and occupational health and safety.

2018

Company crosses the 1 Million unit sales barrier.

The Company launches CB250F, a 6 gear self start motorcycle with latest features.

Atlas Honda breaks the record by selling 100,000 bikes in a month of January 2018.

AHL wins 2 awards namely “Best CSR Report, Research & Publication Award” and “Best Environment & Waste Management Award” at Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2018 hosted by National Federation of Environment and Health (NFEH).

2017

The Company launches CB150F, a 5-gear self start motorcycle with latest features. This is Company’s first 150cc locally assembled bike.

AHL wins 2 awards namely “Best Corporate Report, Research & Publication Award” and “Best Environment & Waste Management Award” at Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2017 hosted by National Federation of Environment and Health (NFEH).

Company crosses the 900,000 unit sales barrier.

2016

The largest motorcycle service center of Pakistan is inaugurated in Lahore.

The Company incurs a major investment and increases its production capacity at Sheikhupura plant to 1.2 million units per annum.

Company wins PSX Top 25 Companies Award for the years 2014 and 2015 from Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The Company is awarded 1st position as top employer in automobile sector by Rozee.pk.

Company wins 1st position in ICAP & ICMAP’s “Best Corporate Report Awards” in the engineering sector for the 3rd time in a row.

The Company is awarded “4th Employer of the Year Award” from Employers’ Association of Pakistan.

2015

Company wins a 1st position in ICAP & ICMAP’s “Best Corporate Report Awards” in the engineering sector for the 2nd time in a row.

Company is awarded 1st position in environmental reporting by ACCA and WWF Pakistan for the 2nd time.

Engine warranty period & free service cards are increased to 3 years and 3 cards respectively.

2014

The Company is given “Certificate of Merit” by South Asian Federation of Accountants for its Annual Report.

Company wins 1st position in “Best Corporate Report Awards” for the engineering sector hosted by joint committee of ICAP & ICMAP.

The new modernized 125 cc model named CG125 Dream is launched.

Company acquires shares in Atlas Hitec (Pvt.) Ltd, a joint venture between Denso Corporation and Atlas Group.

The Company signs agreements with leading banks including MCB, UBL and Askari Bank for the availability of Honda bikes on credit.

Company is awarded 1st position as top employer in automobile sector by Rozee.pk.

The Company once again receives the “KSE Top 25 Award for the years 2012 and 2013”.

2013

Company receives Best Corporate Report Award in engineering sector from joint committee of ICAP & ICMAP.

The new modernized 70 cc model named CD70 Dream is launched.

The Company is awarded 1st position in environmental reporting awards organized by ACCA and WWF Pakistan.

CBR150 and CBR500 are launched in Pakistan.

Company signs an agreement with Habib Bank Ltd for offering personal loan facility to salaried account holders for purchase of Honda bikes.

Company celebrates its 50th anniversary.

2012

The Company becomes the first two wheeler in Pakistan with all its models compliant with minimum emission standards of Euro II technology.

Company launched the new 100 cc model named “Pridor”.

The Company becomes completely “Debt Free”.

2011

Dealership network surpasses 500 sales dealers.

Company crosses the 500,000 unit sales barrier.

90% localization is achieved.

2009

The concept of Honda Used Motorcycle Sellers (HUMS) is introduced to exclusively serve the resale needs of consumers.

The Company receives “Top 25 Companies Award” for the 2nd time.

2007

The Company hosts 15th New Honda Circle Asia-Oceania Convention, the first to be hosted in Pakistan.

The Company introduces the concept of Smart Sales Points (SSPs) for remote areas of the country.

SAP, the leading ERP system in the world is implemented.

2006

CG 125 Deluxe, a new 5 gear model is launched.

The state-of-the-art Synchronized Assembly Plant is installed at Sheikhpura facility, increasing the production capacity to 500,000 units.

2004

Company receives Best Corporate Report Award again in engineering sector.

2003

Company is awarded “Top 25 Companies Award” by Karachi Stock Exchange.

Company receives Best Corporate Report Award in engineering sector.

Company crosses the 100,000 unit sales barrier.

2002

85% localization is achieved.

2001

First ever Customer Education Program is launched.

New marketing strategy of “5S” dealerships is introduced to provide one window solution to customers.

The Company hosts the first ever dealer convention of two wheeler industry in Pakistan.

 

2000

Excellence Award is received from Employers’ Federation of Pakistan for being among the top ten companies w.r.t. HR policies & industrial practices.

1999

The Company receives ISO 9002 certification for both Karachi and Sheikhupura plant facilities.

1995

Company makes its first exports to Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Middle East and Central Asia.

1994

The Company concludes 4 technical assistance agreements between Japanese companies and vendors, thereby playing a key role in transfer of technology to local vendors.

1991

CG125 Engine Parts Manufacturing Plant is installed at Sheikhpura production facility.

1990

Honda Motor Company Limited, Japan acquires 20% equity in the company as a result of merger between Atlas Autos Ltd and Panjdarya Ltd. The name of the new company is “Atlas Honda Limited”.

1987

Engine Parts Manufacturing Plant is installed with a significant investment, thereby opening the doors for the development of local vendor industry.

The Company celebrates its 25 years of operations.

1986

The Company organizes its first ever Vendor Conference.

1985

A Quality Circle Movement called “Ala Mayar Circle” commences with an aim of improving management, quality control and manufacturing techniques (Ala Mayar is now a regular event held each year).

50% localization is achieved.

1983

Company undertakes its 1st major capacity expansion with investments made in press, die making, tool room & wielding shops.

1982

The 2 stroke MB 100 is launched.

A second production facility is installed at Sheikhupura and it commences production under the name of Panjdarya Ltd.

1980

A motorcycle Technical Training Centre is established in Lahore.

1979

In collaboration with the Association for Technical Scholarships of Japan, series of technical seminars are conducted in Pakistan.

1976

Company fully utilizes its full capacity of 18,000 units for the 1st time.

The Company launches its flagship products, the fuel efficient CD70 and high performing CG125 to nation-wide acclaim.

1975

A new model, Honda S110 Deluxe is introduced.

1973

The Company adopts “Management by Objectives” (MBO) system of management.

1969

An in-house engineering workshop is set-up in Karachi, the first step towards localisation of motorcycles in Pakistan.

1966

The Company builds Pakistan’s first gas operated paint shop.

1965

The Company becomes the first two wheel assembler in Pakistan to get listed on stock exchange.

Commercial production commences in Karachi with sanctioned annual capacity of 6,000 units.

The Company launches the famous Honda models of C50, C90 and S90.

1963

First Technical Assistance Agreement is signed with Honda Motor Company Limited, Japan.

The Company commences its commercial operations.

1962

The Company is incorporated as a public limited company under the name of “Atlas Autos Limited”.
