Engine Start

1. Precautions
   – Never run the engine in an enclosed area as the exhaust fumes contain poisonous carbon monoxide gas.
   – Never try to start the motorcycle when it is in gear as it may damage the motorcycle and cause injuries.
2. Procedure
   – Turn on the fuel cock. Insert key in the ignition switch and turn it on. Turn the transmission to neutral position.
   – Straighten the position of kick starter. Depress the kick starter slowly upto free play, then start the engine with the power of the foot. Do not let the kick starter hit the stop
   pedal when it quickly recoils, as it may damage the engine. – Open the accelerator slightly and kick with the help of kick starter. By opening choke lever, warm up the engine till it gets uniform motion. Return the kick starter to its original position to avoiding obstacle.
